AN XK WITH CLASS AND CLAWS
If you are looking for a New Zealand–new Jaguar XKR, this car has to be considered. It was sold by Auckland dealer Archibald and Shorter and has been serviced by them and Jaguar specialists Beecham. The R stands for the supercharged version of the four-litre V8 apparently, although ‘Respect’ seems more appropriate.
This particular car is immaculate, and definitely better than the XKR the baddies drove in Die Another Day because it hasn’t been chopped about to fit rocket launchers etc. It has served more genteel roles in New Zealand as a wedding car and the star of various photo shoots.
