An impressive racing pedigree complete with all the Group A homologation paperwork (what Ken Hopper refers to as the ‘golden ticket’ to go motor racing) is a part of this car deal. One of only a handful of Group A Mustangs built, it is a car not often found.

Now restored by Ken, the Fox Body Mustang had multiple starts at Bathurst and other Australian tracks. It was then imported and competed at various events here. These included races at Queenstown, Timaru, and the Wellington street race.

The package includes a fully specced Group A 302 motor, Getrag gearbox, and diff — Atlas axle, Detroit Locker, 28-spline axles with fully floating safety hubs. Spares include another motor, gearbox, and diff — all as already installed — and a complete set of panels, which includes the nose clip and the hard-tofind rear hatch assembly.

The car is completely restored and ready to go racing from day one in either classic or historic events.
