1. Spirit of Bund­aberg

The Spirit of Bund­aberg Fes­ti­val is back, and this year it will be big­ger and bet­ter than ever. Co­in­cid­ing with Bund­aberg Rum’s 130th Birth­day, this year’s event will have more danc­ing, more food, more rum and more fun.

2. Mt Perry Wood­chop

Mt Perry Ax­e­men and Sawyers present the24th An­nual Wood­chop. There is plenty on of­fer for ev­ery­one in­clud­ing wood­chop­ping com­pe­ti­tions and ac­tiv­i­ties, art ex­hi­bi­tion, a car and bike dis­play, jump­ing cas­tle, food and mu­sic. WHEN: To­day,10am–late

3. Street party

It’s time to cel­e­brate the new streetscape works in Zunker Street at Bur­nett Heads. Res­i­dents are in­vited to a com­mu­nity fun day with kids rides, stalls, lion and dragon danc­ing and much more. WHEN: To­day, 10am–2pm COST: Free

4. Flushed Out

Lo­cal artist Paul Perry will host a come and try mo­saic work­shop, while also gaug­ing in­ter­est in pro­duc­ing a com­mu­nity mo­saic on the walls of the pub­lic toi­lets at Archie’s Beach, Bar­gara. The ex­hi­bi­tion opens from 6pm to­day with the work­shops run­ning from 10am to 6pm. WHERE: Craw­ford Park, Woon­garra Scenic Dr

5. Walk to Re­mem­ber

T.G’s Le­gacy, in con­junc­tion with Sands Queens­land, will host this year’s Walk to Re­mem­ber. The day is a chance for com­mu­nity mem­bers to come to­gether to re­mem­ber lost ba­bies and for those im­pacted to find sup­port with other bereaved par­ents.
