Out­door art room

ART lovers are in for a treat this week as the Out­door Art Room kicks off week two of its free art play pro­gram.

Start­ing to­day un­til Jan­uary 19, chil­dren can take part in this week’s ‘Flut­ter by for mag­nif­i­cent moths’.

To get your child in­volved in the moth-mak­ing ma­nia, head along to the Bour­bong St Pavil­ion from 10am un­til 1pm.

The event is free and is on ev­ery day this week.

Self de­fence les­sons

JOIN Rhee Taek­wondo, the fam­ily self de­fence ex­perts, for a block of in­ten­sive self-de­fence les­sons over the last two weeks of the Jan­uary school hol­i­days.

Classes are for 4-7-year-olds and cover a va­ri­ety of top­ics in­clud­ing fo­cus, con­trol, co­or­di­na­tion and child ab­duc­tion self de­fence.

Block les­sons cost $55 for five 30 min­utes les­sons, which start at 9am week­days.

Social squash comp

MON­DAY Night Social Squash Comp is a mixed com­pe­ti­tion with em­pha­sis on the social side of squash.

Play­ers are graded ac­cord­ing to abil­ity and play in a team of six.

Play­ers range from A grade to be­gin­ners, sea­sons run for 15 weeks, and par­tic­i­pa­tion costs $13.

To join in the fun, come down to the Bund­aberg Squash Club from 7pm un­til 10pm.

Call 4151 5131 to re­serve a spot or for more in­for­ma­tion.

Laser tag and bat­tles

GET the kids off the screens and bring them to play laser tag or nerf bat­tles in air con­di­tioned com­fort in Wide Bay Laser Skir­mish’s bunker across from Blooms Chemist.

Chil­dren need to bring their own nerf tag­gers, but darts and laser tag­gers will be sup­plied.

The cost per player is $10 for an hour and $5 for a game. Par­ents play free when kids play.
