Es­cape to a world of cin­ema at the Noosa In­ter­na­tional Film Fes­ti­val from Oc­to­ber 26-29. Im­merse your­self in 100 in­spir­ing and thought-pro­vok­ing short and fea­ture-length films from around the world, plus talks from cin­ema greats, a fu­sion of mu­sic and film, and work­shops for the as­pir­ing film­maker.

NIFF kicks off with our ac­claimed In­side Cin­ema spe­cial guest Q&A at The J, where we go be­hind the scenes on the art and sci­ence of film-mak­ing.

Aus­tralian new re­lease film, Jun­gle, is set to thrill cin­ema au­di­ences at the open­ing night event on Fri­day Oc­to­ber 27. A group of friends en­ter the Bo­li­vian jun­gle only for their ad­ven­ture to quickly turn into a nightmare. The film stars Daniel Rad­cliffe (Harry Pot­ter), di­rected by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek).

Of­fi­cial Selec­tion shorts will screen at mul­ti­ple ses­sions all week­end at The J and Noosa Arts The­atres.

Academy Award-win­ning cin­e­matog­ra­pher John Seale re­turns to NIFF as Found­ing Pa­tron and re­vis­its The English Pa­tient (for which he won an Os­car).

The di­verse pro­gram of drama, com­edy, an­i­ma­tion, thriller and doc­u­men­tary will keep you gripped to the screen.
