EAT ST: HASTINGS

DISCOVER DELIGHTS OF NOOSA

-

SURFING, sun and sand on Noosa Main Beach ... you’ve spent hours in the water, out of the water and in again and you’re starting to feel peckish.

Hastings St might be famous for its sophisticated dining options, but on the glitter strip you’ll find a variety of edibles ranging in price.

For a more cost-effective meal, there’s burgers-a-plenty lining the streets, which offer a decent feed between $10 and $20 per person.

Pizza is a popular option for couples or families, and there’s many places to choose from that offer fresh ingredients on delicious doughs, from $18 up to about $30 per pizza.

For a relaxed brekky or lunch, there’s a number of cafes and takeaway shops tucked behind the retail outlets on both sides of the road.

You’ll find a large selection of casual meals including kebabs, Thai food, bakeries and smoothies, plus a highly recommended cafe sitting in Bay Village.

If you’re after something more formal but without the price tag, head along to the Noosa Heads Surf Club for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The club boasts stunning views across the bay, as well as delicious dishes coming in big portions.

And if you’re up for a little bit of spoiling (you’re in Noosa – why not?), you can’t walk very far along Hastings St without coming across a classy, fine-dining restaurant serving quality courses and superior wine.
