Noosa Springs Golf & Spa Resort

This Graham Papworth-designed golf course is rated one of the best in Australia and likes to pose a challenge with 69 bunkers and water in play on 12 holes. Noosa Golf Club

This thriving social hub on Cooroy Noosa Rd in Tewantin describes itself as the only nature reserve with a championsh­ip golf course attached that will offer plenty of challenges and recently attracted the likes of Ian Baker-Finch. Noosa Par 3

This 27-hole public golf course offers a wide range of playing times seven days per week including social golf days in a picturesqu­e setting. This is considered by some to be the best short course in Australia, with small greens and undulating and wind-exposed fairways at the Hollet Rd setting in Noosa. Noosa Valley Country Club

This spectacula­r course, described by Australian Golf Digest Magazine as “a golfing gem”, is the first golf course in Australia to be accepted into the ABC’s Open Garden Program. This gem is just off the Eumundi Noosa Rd, and while the course does not offer competitio­n play, conquering its holes holds its own rewards. Call the Golf Shop/Restaurant: 5449 1411.

Peregian Golf Course

This reopened Peregian Golf Course with a driving range is in the heart of Peregian Springs. The course is set amid tree-lined fairways with a number of holes featuring lakes and waterways providing golfers a pleasant but testing outlook. Located at Peregian Springs Drive, the licensed clubhouse is a social drawcard. To book a round call 5471 5400.

Cooroy Golf Club

Nestled on the southern entrance to Noosa’s premier hinterland town, this course offers a relaxed feel for a hit of golf to complete a holiday experience or social, corporate or charity golf day.
