Noosa’s fairways are a haven for happy golfers and furry friends

Noosa Life and Style - - FRONT PAGE -

Some years back the Inside Golf guide rated the Sunshine Coast as probably the favourite destination for winter Kiwi sightings as New Zealanders escaped from the winter cold.

But it’s just not New Zealand golf fanatics who will be flocking to Noosa’s fabulous fairway offerings and, with good autumn rain, our local courses are in tip-top shape.

Often at our premium courses, a round of golf doubles as a nature tour as the hunt for birdies is matched by marvelling at local kangaroos, koalas and all manner of bird life.

Here’s what Noosa has to offer in spades:

Cooroy Golf Club: Nestled on the southern entrance to Noosa’s premier hinterland town, this course offers a relaxed feel for a hit of golf to complete a holiday experience or social, corporate or charity golf day. The open-plan clubhouse looks out over the 1st fairway and 18th green and is an ideal place to unwind. Call 5447 6258.
