GLENELLERSLIE Here­fords will show their an­nual of­fer­ing dur­ing Beef Week, with the stud open­ing the gates on Thurs­day, Jan­uary 31.

The prop­erty is lo­cated at 908 - 1064 Yaven Creek Road, Ade­long, NSW.

Fol­low­ing the open day, 29 Here­ford and 18 Poll Here­ford bulls will be sold on Tues­day, Feb­ru­ary 12, from 1pm, by Helms­man Auc­tion.

This year’s ex­cel­lent draft $65,000 sire, Glen­dan Park Keno.

The rest of the Here­ford bulls are sired by War­wick Court Elec­tric, whose $10,000 son topped the sale in 2017; Kalu­dah Kyle, and whose 2018 equal sale top­ping son, Quin­lan 2, made $10,000; Binge­berry Trail­blazer E048, whose prog­eny topped the sale in 2014, 15 and 16, the best be­ing No­mad for $13,000 in 2015 and Out­stand­ing for $12,000 in 2016.

The polled of­fer­ing in­cludes sons of Quamby Plains Jaguar, two of his sons, Quail and Quill, sell­ing for $10,000 each in 2018.

Yarawa South Ja­maica, Clover­lee Joker and Glenellerslie Napoleon are the other sires rep­re­sented.

All of the bulls carry the Glenellerslie Guar­an­tee; they are se­men tested, vac­ci­nated twice for Vib­rio, tested neg­a­tive to pes­tivirus and only one was as­sisted at birth, an easy pull from a heifer.

Glenellerslie bulls are fa­mous for their docil­ity and do­ing abil­ity.

Glenellerslie, es­tab­lished by Gor­don and June Smith in 1974, run by Ross and Mandy Smith, son Blake and with fur­ther help from daugh­ters Ali­cia and Re­becca, ac­cred­ited fat­ten­ing en­ter­prise along­side their stud op­er­a­tion.
