Range of activities
THERE are a range of events to enjoy in the Strathbogie region in the coming months.
Towns across the region will host their own vibrant Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Australia Day celebrations, including New Year’s Eve fireworks at Lake Nagambie.
If you love selecting fresh food and produce and combing markets for one of a kind treasures, the many regular local markets that are held throughout the Strathbogie region are sure to appeal to you.
Throughout summer, many of the regular markets the region is famous for will continue to be held, and regular dates can be seen on the Strathbogie Shire Council website address below.
Saturday, January 11, 2014 sees Strathbogie celebrate the 2014 Strathbogie Summer Festival.
February 22 will see the Nagambie Endurance Ride, attracting horse enthusiasts from near and far.
Many visitors are set to flock to Nagambie in March to celebrate the 2014 Nagambie on Water (NOW) Festival.
The festival will take place on Saturday, March 1 2014, from 9am-3:30pm.
Bring friends and family together and enjoy this exciting festival at beautiful Lake Nagambie and be captivated by the Moomba Masters ski team as well as the amazing Walk on Water event and the Park to Pub ’n’ back swim.
There will also be activities, market stalls, art displays, live music and more.
