NO mat­ter what your view­point is of in­fa­mous bushranger Ned Kelly, there is an ac­tiv­ity for ev­ery­one dur­ing Ned Kelly Weekend.

The weekend co­in­cides with the an­niver­sary of the 1880 com­mit­tal trial, which took place 135 years ago this year.

The event, which is run by the Beech­worth His­tor­i­cal Reen­act­ment Group, will be held in Beech­worth from Au­gust 7-9.

Ac­tiv­i­ties will in­clude a siege re-en­act­ment on Satur­day night, reen­act­ments of Ellen and Ned Kelly’s tri­als, and more.

Sun­day’s sched­ule will in­clude another Ned Kelly trial re-en­act­ment, as well as a fas­ci­nat­ing talk by speaker Greg Blake, au­thor of Bat­tle of Eu­reka.

Cast and crew of the film The Last Out­law will also be in­volved in events on the weekend.

There are also sur­prise speak­ers planned.
