Take your own picnic, or follow their Facebook page to find out when the Old Mate’s BBQ Food Truck is parked outside. Its traditional Usa-styled BBQ is the perfect match to any of their eight brews. Chow down on their perfectly cooked ribs as you enjoy a cool, cleansing ale.

20. GET ACTIVE
For the outdoorsy, there are plenty of walking and hiking tracks to explore in the Highlands. Mansfield Reserve is situated at the end of Mansfield Road in Bowral and features a set of linked walking tracks that take around twenty minutes to complete and ensure you’ll see some native flora and fauna.
The Forty Foot Falls walk begins at Lake Alexandra in Mittagong follows the creek and takes you through lush fern forest, finishing at the Falls, where you can take a dip or soak yourself under the falling water. The Bong Bong Track weaves between Burradoo and Moss Vale and includes roughly 8kms of scenic cycling and/or walking paths.
