The small group tours are limited to a maximum of 12 travellers. Whether you are a first time or experienced traveller, single, couple or a social group, your needs will be catered to, Michael and Kaylene combine scheduled sightseeing with plenty of ‘free time’ in which to explore the emerging and exciting destinations you will visit. If you don’t have the confidence to explore on your own, they are more than happy to show you around during the free time as well.

2019 HIGHLIGHTS
During 2019 MK1 Travel escorted groups to Spain & Eastern Turkey.
The tour to Spain in May was custom tailored for a client who wanted to walk the Camino with friends for her 50th birthday. This group enjoyed a self-paced tour with comfortable accommodation, the option of luggage porterage or self-carry, and they delighted in the food and hospitality that has become a hallmark of the Camino.
The group made new friends with ‘peregrinos’ from around the world and the highlight of this tour was arriving in Santiago injury free and receiving their ‘Compostela’, before travelling on to Fisterra the following day to visit the ‘end of the earth’. The wonders
continued with onward exploration of the Galician area, Pamplona, Valencia and Madrid and other incredible cities.
In September, Michael escorted a group of ladies to explore Eastern Turkey, an area well off the beaten track and free from large crowds, but extraordinary for its history, culture and gastronomy. They joined the tour as strangers, but left as friends, with one of the ladies remarking: “I didn’t think you could do it, but everyday there was a ‘wow’ moment”.
