Michael Freeman is one of the world’s most published photographers with more than 100 books to his name.
Since 1978 he has photographed more than 40 stories for Smithsonian, the prestigious magazine of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC.
In 1990 he was awarded the Prix Louis Philippe Clerc in 1990 from the Musée Français de la Photographie, France.
