Hamish had tried a variety of sports before, from football and rugby through to cricket, but this was his first experience shooting indoors, and with basketball. Both offered unique challenges, from the cramped, hectic nature of the game to the challenging lighting conditions. With Mark’s guidance Hamish learnt that preparation is key, from how to set the focus tracking to when to change angles. By the end of the game Hamish had managed to capture a varied and technically very sound series of images.
