Paul Harcourt Davies is one of the world’s most influential macro photographers, and a jury member of this year’s Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.

He is the author of 19 photography books including the seminal The Complete Guide to Close-up and Macro

Photography. He has also presented several programmes for the BBC series Tracks.

Paul has lived in Italy for the past 12 years. He runs workshops and photography tours from his renovated farmhouse there, mostly in Mediterranean countries.

Among his numerous awards are the RPS Gold Medal for his portfolio in the 2013 International Garden Photographer of the Year.
