iLux’s V860N is designed with the professional in mind, but at a price that will appeal to all. It has a quoted guide number of 58 at ISO100 and 105mm, and we found its power and recycle times (three seconds after a full-power flash) compare well with Nikon’s SB910. It also features full TTL compatibility, and the build quality is excellent. Its rechargeable battery pack is equivalent to 12 standard AA batteries, and should easily last through a full day’s shoot.
