Pro’s killer kit Zebra reflector
Heather says…
I always use reflectors when shooting macro images. They’re inexpensive, light and don’t take up any space in my bag. But I often find the silver side too cool and the gold side too warm. Fortunately, some reflectors, such as the Lastolite model pictured here, have a zebra pattern; that is, they have silver and gold stripes on one side, giving a glow that’s only half as warm as the gold side on its own, but still warmer than the silver side. I find it works best in midday sunlight.
