Pro’s killer kit Lens hood

Chris says… Shooting in bright sun means there’s a danger of lens flare if you shoot without the sun behind you. So I recommend people shoot with lens hoods. However, if you’re using a filter system, like the Lee system here, the standard hood won’t fit around the holder. For that, you’ll need a specific hood that fits onto the holder itself. Or you can make a DIY hood out of card that sits just in front of the holder. It will block the light leaks and reduce flare. If you don’t have one, just use your hand to block the light.
