Top tips

I have just received the April edition of N-Photo and what a great read it is… Although I’ve been interested and active in photography for a long time – in fact I think I started when Fox Talbot did, and I started digital in the late ’90s – the most interesting read in this month’s mag is the 100 tips to do things quicker.

Most of the tips I knew, but I had forgotten about a lot of them (it’s an age thing), and it was a great reminder of where everything was on my camera. There were even a few things that I’d never heard of, but I have now, and I can’t wait to put some of these quick tips through their paces when I am out and about taking pictures. I’m sure that my photography will get better after this month’s read. Perhaps I will be able to take a few more pictures and I still won’t be running out of time…

Now the point is: I also play the guitar. I’m just wondering if you could put a ‘100 tips of how to play the guitar faster’ article in N-Photo, because my missus has said that if I don’t improve I’ll be playing in the shed!

Great to know that you’ve found our feature useful – the N-Photo team discovered plenty of time-saving shortcuts too. And while it’s all somewhere in your camera’s manual, it’s hardly the most inviting read… While we can’t help with your guitarplaying in N-Photo, our sister magazines, Guitarist and Guitar Techniques are available for a bargain five-issues-for-a-fiver introductory subscription offer. See page 104. There’ll be no playing in the garden shed for you anytime soon!
