Preparing and making the most of your set
1 In the home
You can easily do this shoot at a family home to ensure you have relaxed babies and parents in a familiar environment. Space often won’t be a problem here.
We need to find a space with large windows, so a living room like this is ideal. If needed, we can move furniture to create a space next to the window.
3 Bean bags
Some photographers swear by beanbags. Newborns can’t hold their bodies upright, so we can utilize a beanbag to create a sturdy set for our mini models.
4 Make the set
When the foundations are laid, we can clip the blankets over the top to create a makeshift ministudio. A textured blanket, like this baby blanket, is fitting.
