most telephotos can be classed as medium – 70-200mm or 70-300mm – or super-telephoto – 100-400mm or 150-600mm – but either way keep to a modest 3x or 4x zoom range. the Sigma 60-600mm aims to give you everything with a massive 10x zoom range. But it’s a beast, so shooting at 60mm with a lens weighing 2.7kg can feel a little impractical.
