Of all the pictures I have taken, this is the one I am most proud of. Pauline arrived in my studio saying, “I don’t know why I am here!” But after lots of cups of tea, I gained her trust and grabbed a dozen pictures. Her eyes sparkled, just like they must have done when she was 21!

searching for Giants

I asked George to knock on the doors to see if the giant was home, then took the photograph. I absolutely love the visual narrative and the juxtaposition of the huge door and the rather small boy knocking.

Dramatic skatepark

I love trying something different. Capturing Louis in mid-air at the skatepark, with the moody atmospheric background, was great fun and the ‘something different’ that I look for on every job!
