Expert insight Use some colour

Paul says... I look for splashes of colour when I’m out shooting on location. These tall purple flowers were the perfect height for Jodie to frame them around Bryony, and just a couple of bunches were enough to complement the tones in her lipstick. It gives a sense of delicacy to the shot that you wouldn’t necessarily get by posing someone in amongst the flowers, where the colour might be overpowering.
