Our pro’s verdict…

This is such a wonderfully rich, moody shot. Jodie has caught an incredible expression in Bryony, and her eyes have those beautiful catchlights that lift them up and make them sparkle. Shooting through the leaves has added a touch of intrigue to the photograph. It’s almost voyeuristic, in a way, and with soft, gentle lighting across the face, this is a phenomenal portrait that really manages to stand out. In all, a worthy Shot of the Day where Jodie put all the techniques I taught her into practice.
