Go with the workflow
In N-photo 90 you reviewed 10 photo-editing applications. The article described the features of the software, but did not discuss how easy each were to use, or if they could be integrated with other programs in a workflow.
You also didn’t mention Adobe Bridge, which I use to view and sort my shots; Photoshop Elements 2014 for processing; and Canon Print Studio Pro for printing.
I find this combo greatly assists my workflow as it provides a structured method of working and it makes the complete process simpler and easier to manage. Paul Buckley
bridge is a great for cataloguing. but as Photoshop cc is bundled with lightroom cc as part of Adobe’s Photography Plan, bridge is, perhaps, less essential than it was. but it’s free to download from: www.adobe. com/uk/products/bridge.html
