SHARPEN IN CAMERA

Many Nikon cameras have a Picture Control menu that enables you to customize a range of properties, including the amount of sharpening applied to each photo. Picture Control settings vary from camera to camera, but you should be able to access them in the Shooting menu. A Neutral Picture Control setting is a good place to start if you plan to manually process colours, tones and sharpness in Capture NX-D’S digital darkroom. You can customize the Neutral Picture Control to keep in-camera sharpening to a minimum and then get the precise look that you want in Capture NX-D.
