Money no object, the 24-70mm zoom is the one. It delivers top quality, has a versatile zoom range, and the bonus of VR. However, there’s still a lot to be said for shooting with two or three prime lenses in your kit bag. There’s less overall expense and weight, and you’ll have a much more compact, lightweight camera when shooting with any of the primes. Perhaps we should call this one a draw.
