Our Apprentice says…

As Johnny Marr bounded onto the stage and the lights came up the audience really showed their appreciation, and so I managed to capture this moment as he interacted with the crowd, clearly relishing the attention. I love the way the bright stage lights cut through the dry ice, creating shafts of light and leading to some gorgeous, atmospheric backlight. I tried both horizontal and vertical compositions as Tracey suggested, and made sure that I shot with plenty of space around the singer.
