I switched to my 24-70mm standard zoom and positioned myself right in front of Johnny for this full-body shot; he was so close that, even shooting at the widest angle of 24mm, I had to lean right back against the pit barrier to fit him into the frame. I rattled off a sequence of shots using Continuous-low shutter release mode, and this is my pick of the bunch. He’s a real showman and I love the dynamic pose and coloured lighting.
