Shooting Raw affects the ‘digital’ side of your workflow, but there are some basic physical camera settings that apply before the image is even recorded. The shutter speed, lens aperture and focus point are fixed when you take the photograph and cannot be changed later, regardless of whether or not you shoot JPEG or Raw.
