Raw file settings

Most cameras let you change the Raw file settings to get the best combination of file size and quality. On most Nikons, you choose between 12-bit (smaller) or 14-bit (better) Raw files, which are saved in either Uncompressed, Lossless compressed, or Compressed forms.
