Rachel Korinek talks about why the versatility of the d850 helps her capture dynamic food photographs
Food photography entails still life scenes, fast-moving pouring shots and hurried restaurant environments. The D850 is Nikon’s most versatile full-frame camera and easily copes with the demands of food photography. A lot of freelance food photographers shoot in their home offices or studios where low-light conditions are common. The D850’s sensor design helps tackle these lighting situations, resulting in better image quality and an impressively wide dynamic range. It also has an amazing autofocus system that allows us to capture both posed portraits and involved product shots simultaneously.
