Totally bostin’!

-

The other week, I sat down with a coffee to read through some magazines I had picked up from the newsagents. The first one I read was N-photo, and the cover smacked me in the face with 100% Nikon 100% Independent! Wow – a mag solely for the Nikon user!

Before I had reached the letters page, I had subscribed to the magazine there and then – it is just so informative and helpful. Having retired a couple of years ago, money needs to be reined in a little bit nowadays, but this time I threw caution to the wind and dropped some cash – I think very well spent.

I do have a couple of queries, however: Firstly: is it possible to get back issues, as I noticed in the Buyers Guide a Nikon D5600 camera was tested in N-photo 68 – this is the camera I have recently bought with a 18-135mm Nikon lens, both secondhand from Wex in Birmingham (I couldn’t afford to buy new).

Secondly: will the ‘cover features’ and ‘Nikon Skills’ sections be repeated in a cycle type of thing in future editions?

As a complete beginner (an old one at that), these Nikon Skills and features are all very helpful to me.

As a Black Country pensioner I am eagerly awaiting the next issue – what a totally bostin’ magazine!

Dave Hanson First, thank you for singing the praises of N-photo, we absolutely adore making it and are thrilled you enjoy it just as much. it’s great to hear that you’ve subscribed, too! we’re also relieved, on consulting our black country dictionary, to learn the meaning of ‘bostin’…

while Nikon skills is repeated every issue, it is with different projects that are loosely linked around the time of year you receive the magazine to help you make the most of your photographic journey. likewise, while we have regular features every issue, the subjects will differ. You can see what back issues are available at www. myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/photo by clicking the ‘View single issues’ link, though we typically only stock the past six months or so. or, digital back issues go all the way back to the first issue! see bit.ly/zinio_nphoto_back
