CSABA DARÓCZI

Csaba has been photographing the swarming period of ant lions (Myrmeleontidae) every June since 2011. It’s a challenge to take a good picture of the insects’ unpredictable flight as he sets the focus manually. In 2019, his favourite spot was an area of sand dunes near Tázlár, Hungary, where the ant lions hovered between grasses towards the end of the day.
