BOTANICAL GARDENS

The Victoria Park Botanical Gardens in Bath is one of my favourite places to shoot. I managed to catch this beautiful little bridge in the first flush of autumn – and I’m really looking forward to capturing it during the spring and summer as well.

BATH IN THE MIST

I usually only shoot at the weekends, but I woke up one Wednesday morning to see a thick soup of fog outside my window. I flung on a white dress, frantically packed my kitbag and ran down to the local park to capture some misty self-portraits.

AT THE WINDOW

While I can certainly respect the beauty of studio lights, nothing beats natural lighting for me. I just love the gentle shadows and highlights it creates on the face. This pretty window seemed particularly perfect for a pose looking wistfully into the distance…
