Kit-wise, you can create great images on anything from an entry-level DSLR to pro-spec gear. For most subjects, a 300mm telephoto lens is recommended in order to help with filling the frame. Wider apertures allow for flexibility and better low-light performance. For remote work, a standard kit lens can cover most situations, allowing for a different look without costing the world.
