The base material for this lustre paper is made from cotton fibres, but it also has a microporous top layer coating to give it a lustre finish. As such, it’s based on a paper that was a favourite for many years in the original Platinum/platine traditional photographic market. The ‘digital darkroom’ Platine Fibre Rag has the same look and feel as its conventional forebear, the F-type Baryta Fibre paper.
