COLD WEATHER
Josh says… We started the shoot in T-shirts – not surprising since the summer solstice was less than a week away – but even on a warm day it gets cold in the early hours. A by-product of plummeting temperatures is condensation forming on the front element of your lens. To help prevent this I’d recommend investing in a dew heater. This simple device wraps around the lens barrel and emits heat to help prevent the formation of condensation. Cold weather also causes camera batteries to drain faster. A simple tip is to store batteries in an inside pocket so your body heat keeps them warm.
