Filter it

Try using a polarizing filter to remove surface reflections from water and foliage. This increases the saturation in the greens and, in the case of my waterfall (top), it brought out the peaty colour in the water. Try using the foam on the water surface to your advantage. I used a six-second exposure time with the aid of a Lee Little Stopper, along with a polarizing filter to remove the surface reflection on the water.
