I’ve got NX Studio and while it is better than Capture NX-D, in one respect it’s not as good. I have a Nikon Coolscan 9000 and I edit the NEF scans in Capture NX-D following the demise of NX-2. But although it displays them I have found that no adjustments can be made using NX Studio, so if you have any Coolscan NEFS, don’t get rid of Capture NX-D. Chris Whitty We’ve reached out to Nikon who tell us that, as the Coolscan 9000 is an ‘archived product’, there are no plans to update NX Studio to process its files, but thanks for highlighting this issue!
