Colours and layers

If you aim to capture an image with a clear focal point, you will also need to ensure that the rest of the image is worth exploring. If your focal point object is heavily textured, then also adjust your perspective to include other areas less textured that are still interesting. Playing with tones and colours can also help you to create a subtle, dreamlike image – in particular, the use of paler colours will echo dominant subjects. This works well when combined with different layers, which have different undertones of colours.
