Packed with great features and an RF transceiver, the Modus 600RT boasts both RF and infrared CMD and remote connectivity, along with a powerful Gn 60 maximum power rating and 20-200mm motorized zoom. The flashgun is great value at £249/$256, while the ‘Wireless Kit’ adds a hotshoe-mounting Hähnel Viper RF trigger with a 100m range.

Instead of using AA batteries, the Hähnel is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack. This enables great stamina, with up to 1000 half-power flashes, along with a 0.7 second recycling speed. The full range of flash modes features a programmable stroboscopic option, while Mark II improvements include a quick-release hotshoe locking lever and a battery charger with a USB socket.
