WHY NOT GIVE THESE IDEAS A TRY TO TAKE YOUR PROJECTOR-BASED PHOTOGRAPHS TO THE NEXT LEVEL? With a light source as versatile as a projector, you have the freedom to experiment. Shining the light at buildings and brickwork can add bold splashes of colour to the effect. You could also try making your projections interact with the surroundings by, for example, having the shapes and patterns lead towards the moon. On a smaller scale you can try projecting onto people – and this needn’t be done at night, all you need is a dark room. You could even ‘live-paint’ your projection by using Photoshop, or a similar painting app to paint colours and shapes in real time as they’re projected onto a scene.
