Bright sky

Balancing a bright sky and dark landscape can be tricky. Grey or white skies and clouds can easily become overexposed, ruining the shot. Use a graduated neutral density filter to reduce the brightness of the sky, bringing the overall scene within the dynamic range of the sensor.
