PRO KIT TRIPOD & L-BRACKET

-

Adrian says… I’m a bit of a dinosaur – I don’t shoot anything without a tripod. My Gitzo is carbon fibre so it’s very light, but it’s also reasonably chunky and therefore sturdy. It’s size does mean it isn’t overly well suited for overseas trips or long hikes, but it’s my go-to tripod at home. Crucially it doesn’t have a centre column, so the legs can be splayed at an almost 90-degree angle. This allows me to mount the camera very low to the ground, since I often like to shoot on the same level as my subjects. The tripod head features a quick-release mechanism that pairs with my Fittest L-bracket that’s specifically designed for the Nikon D850. This means I can secure and release my camera with ease. The L-bracket also enables me to shoot vertically without positioning the ball head off-centre, which increases stability.
