Think about composition
Waterfalls are interesting in and of themselves, particularly with the added element of flowing water depicted in motion with our photography. To step our waterfall game up a gear we must consider composition. Waterfalls lend themselves primarily to the rule of thirds and leading lines in most instances. If we think outside the box, however, and use a different compositional theory such as the golden spiral, we can make our waterfall photograph really stand out amongst the crowd.
