Take care of yourself

Cold environments tend to be hazardous and remote. Proper planning and preparation will put us in the best position for these shoots, but we must always take note of weather forecasts, tide tables, the terrain we’ll be on, and whether or not there is mobile phone coverage in the area. I always let someone know where I’m going and how long I anticipate I’ll be if I’m shooting alone in these environments. The priority is never the shot, it’s always your safety.
