Batteries included

I needed a couple of spare batteries because the independently manufactured EN-EL15 ones I bought a couple of years ago didn’t work in my new Z 6II.

I’ve been trying to get some genuine Nikon batteries that aren’t silly money – and are actually in stock! – and took a chance on the following at £17 each, delivered from China through ebay – see this link: https://bit.ly/32m7tmr

This is a picture of what actually turned up! On the plus side, a pair of genuine EL-EL15B batteries were inside, brand new and they work perfectly. I’m guessing that they were disguised to avoid customs and/or any legislative issues around sending Li-ion batteries through the post. What strange times we live in. Richard Matthews

Strange times indeed, Richard! I guess that the Ebay seller does state that they won’t necessarily be in the manufacturer’s original packaging…
