WHAT WE LOVE

Tailor-made for the Z fc camera, this lens really looks and feels the part. It has classic retro styling but with high-tech attractions at the core, including a fast and silent autofocus system. The f/2.8 aperture is usefully fast while enabling a compact, lightweight build (just 160g), making the lens a joy to use, especially for candid street photography where the effective 42mm focal length works really well. Not just for the Z fc, it’s also a small object of desire for the Z 50 owners out there.

WHAT’S MISSING?

There’s no optical VR, which can be a bit of an issue considering that the Z fc and Z 50 lack in-body stabilization. WHY UPGRADE? With its useful focal length and fast aperture, it’s a brilliant prime lens for general stills shooting and video capture.
